Police: to report a sexual assault or rape, either call 911 or your local police station.
The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission enforces Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the federal law that prohibits sexual harassment.
The California Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH) administers the state discrimination statute, the Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA).
Entertainment Community Fund provides free and confidential help for those who have experienced sexual harassment. Services include short term one-on-one counseling, referrals for helpful resources and assistance in locating legal services.
RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network) is the nation's largest anti-sexual violence organization. RAINN created and operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline in partnership with more than 1,000 local sexual assault service providers across the country as well as programs to prevent sexual violence, help survivors, and ensure that perpetrators are brought to justice. The TIME’S UP Legal Defense Fund, housed at and administered by the National Women’s Law Center, connects those who experience sexual misconduct including assault, harassment, abuse and related retaliation in the workplace or in trying to advance their careers with legal and public relations assistance.
Women in Film’s Sexual Harassment Help Line is an integrated program to refer victims of harassment,regardless of gender, to designated mental health counselors, law enforcement professionals, and civil and criminal lawyers and litigators.
