Welcome to the Guild! In 2011, the New Member Committee was appointed by the Guild's Board of Directors to expand and support the educational opportunities offered to new members in their first year at the WGAW. Included in the program are three orientations each year, panel events geared towards helping new members get their career moving, and networking opportunities through a mentor program in which small groups of new members are teamed with a successful and experienced television, screen, or new media writer.
