The following is a statement from the officers of Writers Guild of America West (WGAW) and Writers Guild of America, East (WGAE).

Los Angeles and New York – The following is a statement from the officers of Writers Guild of America West (WGAW) and Writers Guild of America, East (WGAE):

We continue to support IATSE as they fight for a fair deal, and are keeping a close eye on the negotiations.

We know writers have many questions about what to do if a strike is called. In the event of a strike, the Guilds will provide immediate guidance to WGA members on how to support our IATSE colleagues.

In Solidarity,

Writers Guild of America West
Meredith Stiehm, President
Michele Mulroney, Vice President
Betsy Thomas, Secretary-Treasurer

Writers Guild of America, East
Michael Winship, President
Lisa Takeuchi Cullen, Vice President
Christopher Kyle, Secretary Treasurer
