VOTING ON WGA-AGENCY CODE OF CONDUCT: March 27 – March 31, 2019

Q: What are WGA members voting on?

The WGA-Agency Agreement Negotiating Committee, WGAW Board of Directors and WGAE Council have unanimously requested membership approval of the following resolution:

• Do you authorize the Board and Council to implement an Agency Code of Conduct, if and when it becomes advisable to do so, upon expiration of the current AMBA on April 6, 2019.    Yes/No

Q: When will the vote take place?

Eligible members will receive an email that includes a link to the online ballot when the ballot is activated.

Voting time/date for WGAW: the electronic online polls will be open from 9:00 p.m. PDT on Wednesday, March 27 to 10:00 a.m. PDT on Sunday, March 31.

Voting time/dates for WGAE: the electronic polls will be open from 8:00 p.m. EDT on Wednesday, March 27 to 9:00 am EDT on Sunday, March 31.

Q: Who is eligible to vote?

WGAW and WGAE Current members in Good Standing are eligible to vote with the exception of members who work exclusively in a staff news shop. WGAW Current members who are In Arrears can restore their eligibility by contacting the Dues Department or (323) 782-4531, deadline is: 6 p.m. PDT on Friday, March 29.
